SpLD, or Specific Learning Difficulty, refers to difficulties some children might have with learning. It's important to know that having an SpLD doesn't mean a child isn't intelligent—it just means they might learn in a different way than other children.

There are different types of SpLD, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD, each affecting specific areas of learning like reading, writing, maths, or attention and focus.

Understanding a child's specific learning needs can help schools and parents to put in the right support, which will help a child with SpLD thrive and succeed academically and in life.
